The years of infertility and pain were teaching me how to be stronger for my future self. Having our daughter Brooke was an amazing gift from God. I'm not sure I would have have been so grateful if she would have arrived differently. When she was 2 months old I had to have the pheochromocytoma removed in NYC Memorial Sloan Kettering. This was so difficult and scary to say the least. I remember thinking that I would try to be the best caregiver I could possibly be in the future, whether it is a nurse, mom, or healthcare provider. What I did to transcend those scary feelings were to study and learn about the body, nutrition, lifestyle medicine and holistic health. I took an apprenticeship with a local nutritionist and became board certified in holistic nutrition with NANP. I studied at IIN and became a Health Coach. I took a year long coaching course to learn Virtual Coaching and help clients from all over the country. And lastly, studied the science of Reflexology. Like nothing I have ever learned in conventional medicine, this was the cherry on top to use bodywork to help people reduce stress and pain in their bodies. What a gift that pain can bring when turned around to serve others! I can help you because I have been there myself.
